Is any of this real?
Every case file mixes two things: what believers actually claim, sourced from decades of published UFO literature, cryptozoology lore, and campfire stories, and what the historical and scientific record actually shows. We're not debunkers and we're not true believers. We're archivists.
Nothing here should be taken as verified fact, and several of these theories have been thoroughly investigated and contradicted by real evidence, which we've tried to represent fairly on every page. Read, question, and — seriously — go verify things yourself instead of trusting a spooky-looking website. That includes this one.

Officially, nobody. Unofficially, it's maintained by an anonymous editor known around here only as Agent X, who has strong opinions about Mothman and no comment on anything else.
